Business Service Characteristics
Bandwidth for Many Simultaneous Users
Service is provided via a dedicated, low latency connection from your building to our closest antenna. Our network design ensures a high level of performance to accommodate the bandwidth need at the location. We serve businesses with tens and hundreds of users simultaneously using data, voice and video applications.
We realize businesses often have specific needs for prioritization of voice and video traffic and VPN access. Open Broadband uses professional-grade hardware to allow this functionality. Our Network Engineering team ensures our equipment is configured to support your needs.
Static IP Addresses and Address Blocks
Businesses may have the need to implement a static IP address for their connection. Larger businesses may require several IPs addresses in a block. Open Broadband can provide IP address space providing sufficient justification is provided to meet ARIN requirements.
Encryption
All our wireless connections are 128 bit encrypted. You can rest assured that your sensitive business information is securely being transmitted from your location. Open Broadband also supports VPN configurations and will work with your team to ensure your needs are met.
Low Latency
A hallmark of Open Broadband internet service is our low-latency connections. We ensure fast internet response by transitioning wireless connections to our fiber, and then back to our data center as fast as possible. We have multiple fiber providers in our data center, and we use BGP routing to automatically route to the shortest path across the internet. This means not only the lowest latency, but it also reroutes around any carrier experiencing an issue on their network.
Redundant Connection
Internet service is mission critical for many businesses, and an hour or two of downtime can cost thousands of dollars. Fiber and copper can be cut with a backhoe or a traffic accident that knocks down a pole. These events do not affect our wireless service to your location.
If you already have a hardwire connection from another carrier, consider adding a wireless connection with Open Broadband. A low-cost wireless connection provides peace of mind and insurance against your business internet being down.
