Info Session at Schley Grange

Join us next week at Schley Grange Hall to learn more about Open Broadband’s high-speed internet service coming to Orange County in spring 2019. Everyone is welcome, bring your neighbors and your questions. Spread the word, share our facebook event.

2019 is a big year because it means reliable, affordable high-speed internet is finally coming to rural Orange County. The timeline below gives you an idea of what to expect in the coming months.
Signal Check
An representative will perform a site evaluation to determine if your residence is a candidate for service. If your home is serviceable the representative will let you know what packages and speeds are available.Beginning in March 2019.
Installation
An installation representative will come to your home to determine the best location for optimal signal and speed. Installation of the fixed wireless antenna will take approximately 1-3 hours. Beginning in April 2019.
Getting Connected
After installation is complete, the representative will setup the provided WiFi router and assist you with connecting your devices. Though we do provide home WiFi routers, you may elect to configure and use your own.

We need your help to build our network. If you’re interested in learning more about donating tower space or land, please email emily@openbb.net. We are looking to hire entry-level installation representatives (see job description). Interested applicants should email a resume to info@openbb.net for consideration.
