The projected Phase 1 service area will reach parts of the downtown Hillsborough area for residences and businesses. If you have a business near downtown Hillsborough that is interested in our service, please sign up on our business page and we’ll be in touch to discuss your specific needs.
Everyone is welcome, bring your neighbors and your questions. Check out the facebook event or share this flyer.
The Installation Process
Our network and the very first customer activation is planned for the end of April. We will then proceed with a controlled rollout of customers to ensure thorough testing and performance measurements are met. Once we are satisfied with the results we will begin scheduling customers in mass. Since there are currently about 1500 people on the waitlist, it will take many months to get every home installed, even with multiple crews working full time. The order in which you joined the waitlist does not determine when you will receive service.
We will deploy installation crews to work in the most efficient manner possible by installing all registered houses on one street before moving on to the next street. If your neighbors have not joined the waitlist, encourage them to do so. Once an install crew leaves an area, it may be several months before they can return.
We get a lot of inquiries asking “when will I get service?” and the answer is soon, but we will contact you when service is available at your location. Please be patient with us as we’re working hard to get the network up and running.
3-Step Install:
1. Our representatives will determine if your address can receive service. We do not make appointments for this part of the installation.
2. If service is available, we will contact you to schedule an in-home installation appointment. If you are receiving this email, we have your contact information and will be in touch with you directly.
3. A team of installers will set up the system, attaching an antenna to the exterior of your house in addition to an interior gateway device. Installation costs a one-time fee of $99. We bill each month in advance, starting at the date of installation. We bill online-only, which means you will fill out an online form to use a credit card or bank debit.
