First Customer Live in Orange County
Last week, Open Broadband turned up its first tower and installed its first customer in Orange County! This is an exciting milestone, but we still have lots of work to do. For the rest of the month we’ll be testing the tower, making needed adjustments and adding a limited number of additional customers. After the controlled introduction period, we will begin scheduling and installing customers around this first tower.
Tower By Tower
Not all of the towers will be activated at the same time. The first tower, located at 510 Meadowlands Dr (next to the Sportsplex) is currently live and the second tower, located at the Cedar Grove Fire Department (720 Hawkins Rd), will be live this month. It will take several towers to cover the entirety of the Phase 1 area, which will be activated one by one over the coming months. We will share a more detailed map and schedule as it becomes more solidified.
