We updated the Wayne County commissioners this week on the status of our network build in the county. 10 vertical assets have been secured, fiber has been delivered to two areas in the county, and fixed-wireless service has been installed for residential, farm, and small business applications in the southern part of the county.
Grantham, Seven Springs, and Fremont are the next areas for service, along with a new Gigabit offering in Goldsboro.
Open Broadband also turned up a free Public Wi-Fi Zone in downtown Mount Olive, and free Public Wi-Fi in the Bryan Sports Complex in Goldsboro.
The Goldsboro News-Argus wrote a previous story about our project, which you may read here.
